About the IT Services team

At the core of our organization is the IT Services team, providing a foundation for all teams and to help employees work seamlessly together. They make sure everyone has the hardware and software tools available that make us so much more effective in our jobs. In 2020 the focus will be on automation of internal processes and structuring the application and infrastructure landscape. Together with Information Security, we will work on gaining more control and insights into the usage and security features of all company supplied equipment and software. Next to that, we will continue to supply the organization with everything they need to work together and to bridge the timezones and geographic distances between the teams. One of our company values is “We enable” and IT Services couldn’t be a better example of embodying that value.

What you'll be doing

Your main focus will be on providing audio/video support during scheduled events. But we'd also like you to come up with ideas to enhance the multimedia experience of the events. The IT Services team is small though, so you'll have a part in most aspects of it. Daily tasks may vary from setting up equipment, on- and off-boarding of employees and helping people out, to managing rules in our Apple management tooling or performing network maintenance. Next to these daily tasks, we are continuously working to improve our processes to stay future-proof and keep track of the fast-growing company.

This role is based in our Amsterdam office. You should either live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate without the need for visa sponsorship.

Who we are looking for

  • We are looking for a helpful, tech-savvy person who isn't scared to experiment with new techniques and finds joy in looking for new solutions to help improve our services.
  • Preferably you have a couple of years of hands-on experience in IT workplace management, in an organization of at least 50 people.
  • For this role, a good understanding of macOS, Apple hardware, and G-Suite is required. It comes in handy if you have experience in the administration of Windows and/or Linux workplaces.
  • A thorough understanding of audio/video equipment and conference solutions is required. Basic knowledge of networking will come in handy. But we’d love it if you’re an expert in professional networking hardware or have experience setting up complete video conferencing solutions.
  • Some knowledge of supporting smartphones and other handheld devices (Apple, Android, and Windows) would be convenient.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
